Every story has a beginning, and ours started with a single, unforgettable kitten. In 2020, as the world slowed down during the pandemic, our family Stefan, Mira, and the kids—welcomed Merlot into their home and our hearts.

What began as a simple space to share Merlot’s charm quickly blossomed into something much larger. People fell in love with his gentle spirit, and through him, Mira found a warm, welcoming home within the Cat Influencer (COI) community. Merlot didn't just bring joy to our living room; he connected us with cat lovers across the globe.

In June 2025, our world stood still when we lost Merlot to HCM. The heartbreak was profound, and the ache of his absence remains a gentle shadow in our daily lives. He was more than a pet, he was the heart of our home and the spark that started it all. He is still deeply missed every single day.

Though Merlot's chapter ended too soon, the story he started lives on. Today, the story continues through Franc and Louis (@thevine_brothers), carrying forward the warmth, love, and connection that Merlot first brought into our lives. He paved the way, and we carry his memory with us in every moment.
